The cocoa used is a mixture of forastero and trinitario beans from West Africa. The chocolate liqueur contains fresh cream, conched Belgian dark chocolate, genuine Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar, granulated sugar and the middle cut of sugar beet distillate.
