The man who started the whole Coopers story, Thomas Cooper, was brewing craft beer long before anyone called it craft beer. Our Vintage Ale uses only select seasonal ingredients, just as Thomas would have done in his day.

Using our own Coopers Malt, this limited release ale is brewed with prime seasonal hops to exhibit an intriguing balance of flavours. Stored under cellar conditions, the rich, full-bodied flavour of Coopers Vintage Ale evolves over an extended period, as the bitterness slowly mellows and the flavours become more complex.
All Coopers ales have a unique flavour and cloudy appearance arising from the brewing process known as natural conditioning. A secondary fermentation is induced by a small amount of live yeast added to our, beer just before bottling. This naturally carbonates the ate, enhancing the flavour and extending the shelf-life which allows for cellaring.
